What this website does

tcpp.digital serves static files: HTML pages, stylesheets, font files, figures, the schema set and the published downloads. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, tracking or marketing services, embeds no advertising, and has no login, no comment function and no contact form.

Nothing on these pages loads from a third party. The two typefaces are served from this website itself rather than from a font provider, so opening a page sends no request to any other operator, and no consent banner is needed for one. The only links that leave the site are the ones to the hosting provider named below, and they are followed only if you click them.

Server log data

The website is hosted by Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 München. As part of operating the servers, the hosting provider processes the data your browser transmits when it requests a file: typically the IP address, the date and time, the file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page and the browser identification.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site. The data is processed by the hosting provider on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, and is not used to identify visitors or combined with other data. Log data is deleted according to the hosting provider's retention practice; details are set out in Contabo's own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Downloads

Downloading the reference node, the manual or the schema archive is an ordinary file request: it is subject to the server log data described above and to nothing else. The node itself runs on your own machine. It generates its key and certificate locally, writes its files beside itself, and sends nothing to this website or to us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain information about the personal data processed about you (Art. 15), to have it rectified (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to info@iw-service.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, Art. 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for the controller is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Changes

This statement will be amended if the website changes in a way that affects it, for instance if a service is added that processes further data. The current version is always the one published here.
